Rev. Dr. Geoff Murphy

Biography:
Born and raised in Conyers, Ga. Geoff enlisted in the U.S. Navy directly after High School. Upon returning, he met Tina Glass and a year later they were married. Geoff is the father of three girls; Nathalie, Victoria and Amelia and “PawPaw” to granddaughter Fowler Beth. After the Navy he served as a paramedic and firefighter until being called into the ministry. Schooling has been a great adventure and Geoff holds degrees in Emergency Medicine, Psychology, Divinity and Language. Geoff has served several wonderful churches and has now come home to Winder, where he and Tina were married, to help fulfill God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11.
Geoff believes in the powerful words of Scripture. “The essence of a good Christian faith walk is the realization that scripture is the most helpful tool we have to live a life of integrity, generosity and joy. The does and don’ts of the scriptures guide us to fullness in this life and joy in the coming forever.”
Geoff believe the church is called to fellowship fully together and invite others into that fellowship. “We who do life together are finding strength upon strength to make it each day. Church can be family if we allow it.”
