Legacy Endowment Ministry
Why does Winder First United Methodist Church have an Endowment?
To allow persons to leave a legacy for future generations to assure that making disciples will go on forever.
To provide permanent, financial gifts that will help support the future ministry of our church.
The principal of these gifts is held in perpetuity with the income made available as needed for ministries of the church.
Legacy Ministry Partners
The Legacy Ministry Partners is composed of church members and friends of the Church who have worked with the Legacy Endowment Committee to include Winder First United Methodist Church in their will or estate plan. In addition, the Legacy Ministry Partners includes those individuals who have already made a gift to the Endowment.
An annual appreciation event recognizes their commitment to the future ministry of the church, and invites members to join the Legacy Ministry Partners.
Contributors wanting to remain anonymous will have their wishes respected.
