Upcoming Events

The goal of our Youth Ministry at Winder First United Methodist Church is simple.  We want to lead the Youth of OUR community toward a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We strive to offer a positive influence and create an inviting environment that Our youth will want to be a part of.

Sixth grade Sunday school is an extra special year for children as they begin confirmation studies.  Through these studies, participants learn basic principles of Christian living.

Biblical theology and United Methodist beliefs.  They begin to claim their Christian faith and heritage.  Field trips and retreats are part of this learning experience.  Sigh graders gather in their classroom.  Class begins at 9:45 in Room 219.

Sixth graders join up with the middle school youth once they complete the confirmation studies.

Gather from 9:45-10:00 in the Youth Ministry Center for breakfast and fellowship.  At 10:00 youth gather for large group lesson and break into smaller groups for discussion.

Youth Sunday school teachers assist youth in discovering the Christian faith as a real, valid and genuine experience in their lives.  Your youth classes attempt to help youth relate the Bible and their religious experience to the needs and concerns they encounter in daily life.

Middle and High School youth gather at 5:00pm for a lesson/Scriptures/Message followed by games.

A snack supper is served from 6:30-7:00pm   At 7:00 Youth group ends for all youth.

4:00-5:45 Youth Center is open for youth to gather.

5:45-645 Wednesday night supper is served in the Fellowship Hall.  See Church website for details on menu and costs.

6:45-8:00pm Small group Bible studies take place for both Middle school and High School students in separate locations.
