BIBLE STUDY

Disciple class are forming now.  More details can be found in the Fellowship Hall along with the sign up sheets.  These are classes that you do not want to miss.

This one day workshop provides a wonderful way to focus intentional energy on the way that God might be calling you and calling our community of faith into deeper more joyful discipleship rooted in our strengths.   Through this workshop we’ll unpack each participant’s unique strengths set, celebrate the strengths of the whole body of Christ that makes up Winder First and reflect together on God’s future.

Preparation:  Need to allow an hour of uninterrupted time to do an online inventory, the Strengths Finder, before you attend the workshop.

Lay Speaking classes are being offered at Hartwell First UMC in Hartwell, GA.  Classes will have 4 sessions on September 13th, 20th, October 4th, and 11th, from 9am-noon.  Classes being offered are: Basic Course in Lay Speaking, Lay Speakers Tell Stories, and Lay Speakers are Servant Leaders.  Registration deadline is August 29th.  For more registration form go to: www.athenselberton.org/layspeaking.
