Winder First UMC Preschool has been
recognized by the The United Methodist Preschool Association of the
North Georgia Conference as "A Program of Excellence for Young
Children."
The Winder
First UMC Preschool, since its inception in 1956, has been an outreach
ministry of our church. Our philosophy of preschool education is based
on the recognition that the best early childhood education occurs in a
Christian environment of love and support. Our primary goal is the
development of the whole child - spiritually, intellectually, socially,
physically and mentally.
At Winder
Fist UMC Preschool, we believe that a child learns best through play and
participating in "hands-on" activities that are developmentally
appropriate. We also believe that all children are wonderfully created
by God and should be respected for their unique personality. Our
teachers provide a nurturing, fun and loving classroom environment.
